Leave a Memorable Tip

By Mike Johnson

If blessed, you occasionally run into a waiter or waitress with a brilliant inner light. You want to leave them something special.

I'm brainstorming ways to leave memorable tips. A trip to Hobby Lobby (a great place to find ideas!) discovered a light bulb jar. Stuffed with $2 bills, it becomes an eye-catcher.

Of course a $20, $50 or $100 bill would also make a big impression framed in that light bulb.

The jar is only $1.99. The lid unscrews so you can insert anything. So far, I've settled on money and a pre-printed note.

Here is the note:

Thank you for your bright personality and great service!
Here is your tip. Money yes, but some valuable ideas too.
You're obviously intelligent. You must be a reader. Here are a few books that lit us up:

How to create anything in life: “Consciously Creating Circumstances” By George Winslow Plummer.

Inspirational novel: “Illusions” by Richard Bach.

Search for God: “Conversations With God” by Neale Donald Walsch.

Proof we live forever: “Hello From Heaven!” by Bill & Judi Guggenheim.

For financial literacy and abundance: “Rich Dad Poor Dad, What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor & Middle Class Do Not” by Robert Kiyosaki.

Thank you for sharing your spark with us today. We so appreciate you! You're bringing brightness to the world. You deserve everything you can imagine. Thank you for being you!

The note could be customized with an additional hand-written note. The possibilities are endless.

It takes so little to brighten someone's day.
