I Don't Know

I don’t know:

Who wins the election.
What happens after that.
If good ever overcomes earthly evil.

I can connect dots of information.
Project trajectories.
Make educated predictions.

But I don’t KNOW.

We ENJOY the not-knowing.
The mystery.
Wondering what happens next.

But it also scares us.
If it’s all unknown, ANYTHING might happen.
Something bad.

We’ve all experienced that more than once so we BELIEVE it.

Earth is tough duty.

We can accept the bad, cope with the pain, and do our best to make the misery more comfortable.

Or we can reject the bad, fight our way free, and leave the misery behind.

Both take the same energy but only one has the better outcome.

I choose the fight.
This choice is easier because I’ve done the research to believe we live forever.
Once you realize you can’t “lose,” you’re free to give your all.

Even if I’m struck down wearing the armor of God, I have a great story to tell on the other side.

Why did my mishmash of decisions and experience polish me into such personal clarity?
It was the grace of God.

Why hasn’t this occurred to everyone?

Did they fail to ask?
Fail to doubt conventional wisdom and authority?
Fail to research?

Or is their timeline toward clarity just different than mine?

I don’t know.
