Activity Storms

The more holes in your soul, the more you chase to fill them.
The more your life lacks, the more you want to party.
Or stay immersed in other busy activities society says are “fun.”

But activity storms prevent quiet, solitude, study and introspection.
These are the only places you’ll ever fill holes.

As your soul fills, your busyness decreases.
Parties lose their appeal because you enjoy your own company more.

Same with small talk. Conflict. Employment. Travel.

Anything that takes you away from peace and solitude becomes less desirable.

You’ll still enjoy the occasional adventure in the outside world.

But like the calm crisp air after a storm, once turbulance settles, you enjoy the best weather.
