Sell The Peace

By Mike Johnson

“They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it. For it is money they have and peace they lack.”
- Terence Mann, “The Field of Dreams”

The most profitable businesses don’t sell things, they sell feelings.

That bowl of soup can be sold for $5 if it tastes good.
But lovingly serve that same soup in a warm, cozy, mahogany restaurant and it easily commands $10.

Now you’re selling the experience, the feelings.

Pleasant feelings deeply imprint in people. They ache to re-experience them.

But life in the hive keeps them busy. Harried. Exhausted.

Wrap your product or service in rich, memorable feelings and they’ll happily trade money to recapture it.

For it’s money they have and peace they lack.

So sell the PEACE.
