Comfort

Comfort is the treasure room of consciousness.

Deep leather chairs, stacked mahogany logs, amber lamp light, thick steaming coffee mug.
Clear, worry-free mind.
Relaxed, unagitated, neutral body.
Jeans, flannel shirt and moccasins.

Dozing Border collie’s chest marks the time with regulated rises and falls.
The clock ticks.
The darkness hugs.
Peace permeates every cell.

The riches of King Soloman are nothing as compared to the value of this moment.
Comfort in all things, mental, physical and spiritual.
With this, you have everything.
You lack nothing.

Wealth is not a thing.
It’s a feeling.
It’s connection to the inner, throbbing generator of universal power.

You do not add things to achieve this.
You eliminate them.

Worry.
Regret.
Guilt.
Fear.
Desire.
Ambition.
Fixation.
Ego.

Remove these and you’ll feel God’s life force as if directly exposed to naked skin.

Comfort in all things.
It’s the richest moment you’ll ever experience.
You don’t capture it.
You allow it.

It’s always there.
It’s you who severs the connection.

Return home to this level of comfort and all is right with your world.
