How to Survive Dog Days

Life isn’t fair today.
But eventually it is.

Adversity is the great motivator.
Imagination and action are the great manifesters.
Karma is the great equalizer.

Time levels everything out and provides the perspective to understand why the journey was needed.

That doesn’t prevent us from barking at the stimulus as our heads hang out the window of experience.

But it all works out.
And if it doesn’t, it will in the next week, next year or next life.

I’m a believer in reincarnation for several reasons.

For one, it’s been proven by many individuals, who remember prior lives, with independent research revealing their knowledge was only possible if their stories were true.

For two, look into Edgar Cayce.
He was a 20th-century psychic who had his secretary record over 14,000 of his “readings” of people he zoned into.
This evidence documents hundreds of others’ prior lives and Cayce’s accurate advice that healed thousands of people’s pains.

Finally, I enjoy a belief in reincarnation because it provides justice in a world filled with apparent injustice.
I believe in a loving, benevolent God.
A God who would not send a soul into a body with birth defects unless the soul needed those lessons for their greater good.
With reincarnation, every injustice in one life can be evened out over multiple lives.

So be careful what you wish for.
A big dream will require you to become a big enough person to achieve it.
“Becoming a bigger person” is going to attract lots of adversity and challenges that force new thinking, new learning and new growth.

This is often painful.

Right up until you crest the summit of achievement.

At that point, you not only gain the fruits of your labor, you gain the perspective of realizing it was only your resistance to change that made the journey so difficult.

Now you see that life IS fair.
Life is ALWAYS fair.
If only you expect life to work out, and allow more of your individual movie frames to play out.
